A church plant has been started in the southern Bulgarian city of Petrich, and relationships are being formed with a network of Bulgarian churches as the host of regular workshops for the pastors. As part of developing leaders a Love Bulgaria youth training conference happens each summer as well as weekend events in the fall and spring for teens.
Pray for:
- the Petrich church plant and other churches that are considering
affiliation with the FMC and FM church leaders working with these churches
- reconciliation, peace and Gods rule for those throughout the Balkans
who continue to suffer from recent conflicts in the area
- the partnership that is forming between the Order of St. Leonard of Solihull, England, and a group of churches in western Bulgaria
- the youth training opportunities as they help shape the next generation of leaders
- the feeding program in Samokov, which ministers to children, families, and the elderly
- the Mellingers, who need discernment and wisdom in
responding to all of the needs, requests and opportunities
that are presented to them, as well as time to devote to
language study
